On June 9, an intimate evening led by our very own owner and sommelier Jordan Hooker, fresh off his recent trip to Sicily. The night features six rare and hard-to-find back vintage wines paired with a thoughtfully curated six-course dinner inspired by the rich, layered flavors of the island, including two exceptionally rare bottles sourced from ancient pre-phylloxera vines, a true rarity offering a glimpse into Sicily's oldest living vineyards.

Guided by Jordan, guests will explore how time shapes these wines, revealing nuance, texture and complexity with each vintage, while gaining insight from his firsthand experience in Sicily. A unique opportunity to experience aged wines alongside cuisine rooted in place, all in a setting designed for conversation and discovery.

About Your Host: Jordan Hooker+

Jordan Hooker is the owner and sommelier behind Somm Wine Bar, known for its curated global selections and intimate, education-driven approach to wine. A U.S. Navy veteran, Hooker opened Somm in 2023 with the goal of creating a space where guests can explore wine through conversation and guided tastings.

His philosophy centers on discovery and accessibility, highlighting lesser-known regions alongside classic benchmarks while encouraging guests to step outside their comfort zones, with a strong emphasis on building knowledge and community through wine.

Jordan remains a hands-on operator and educator, leading tastings and events that reflect his focus on thoughtful curation, detail, and creating a welcoming environment for both casual drinkers and serious wine enthusiasts.
